In this exciting webinar, you will hear from experienced employment lawyers who will discuss employee performance issues and practical ways to engage with employees to improve their personal performance.

You will also hear about problem employees and how to handle poor performance in a positive way, encouraging improvement and when this fails, how best to manage bad attitudes, poor performance and attendance. There will be an opportunity to ask questions of either speaker at the end of the webinar (anonymously if preferred).

Summary: A webinar for Business Owners, Human Resources and Line Managers looking for reliable ways to encourage good performance whilst giving guidance on how to manage difficulties with under-performance, trying to reduce the risks of getting it wrong.

Focus: Employee Performance Management – this will be an interactive webinar to take the FEAR out of talking about pERFormAnce, suggesting best practices for enacting performance improvement plans (PIPs) and defining various types of performance: conduct, competence, capability - looking for ways to encourage good performance and how to reliably manage difficulties with under-performance.

In this webinar you will hear Carrie-Ann Randall (employment lawyer) and Sejal Patel (employment solicitor) as they discuss and outline the basics of employee performance providing practical help with real life examples to help understand the core principles.

The webinar will:

  • Offer guidance to create a positive environment where performance management becomes normal, without fear or repercussion.
  • Look to empower business owners and managers to feel capable of leading their team and encouraging good performance without the need for knee-jerk reactions or confusion.
  • Turn performance management of staff into a positive experience.

    •  what you can and cannot say i.e. when to step-in
