Careers Leaders and Teachers from secondary schools and colleges have an interactive opportunity to become familiar with LinkedIn in an informal environment. We will start right at the beginning with the basics and then specifically focus on how to make it work for education and careers work in schools. This event is aimed at school’s Careers Leaders, Careers Advisers, Careers Coordinators and Teachers who support young people with Careers and Enterprise education. They should attend to understand how to use LinkedIn effectively to support business engagement for career development.
School staff will become familiar with the LinkedIn (professional social media) platform and understand how to start using it and creating a network. They will see how they can start to engage with Alumni from their school and develop relationships with them. This will be specifically from the perspective of supporting young people with careers education.
