The University of Leicester School of Business is one of 20 UK Business Schools participating in a new UK Government fully funded programme to support SMEs as they recover from the COVID-19 Pandemic. This event will act as a taster to the programme and as a catalyst to bring together business leaders from Leicester and Leicestershire to discuss key business challenges and opportunities in the themes covered by the programme, which, amongst others, include:
- Productivity
- Sustainability
- Resilience
- Leadership
- Innovation and marketing
Using a workshop approach the event will combine introductions to the key themes with discussion groups to enable the participants to share best practice and identify case studies of successful approaches to economic recovery post pandemic during the workshop.
The event is aimed at SME leaders in the local economy. The business leaders will gain an understanding of the SBLP programme offer, pick up new insights and best practice from the participating business leaders and benefit from networking with fellow local SMEs.
Agenda: A combination of short talks on the central topics and discussion points.
Speakers:
Dr Martin Quinn (Associate Professor in Regional Development & Public Policy) and other colleagues from the School of Business.
