The SPHERE is designed to offer a range of bespoke services to enable organisations to measure and improve their environmental sustainability. To support the national and local climate strategies and net zero carbon targets, the SPHERE partnership opens up both of Leicester's University’s expertise in sustainability and climate change to regional organisations and businesses, University suppliers and fellow HEIs to support them in their environmentally positive activities.
This event will present the products currently on offer and explore what products would be of value to attendees.
The event is part of the Leicester Innovation Hub which is part-funded by European Regional Development Fund.
The event is aimed at any organisation that wishes to measure (and reduce) their carbon footprint or other environmental impact and would lie support to do so.
Participants will learn about the local and national climate targets and what is to be expected of them in the coming years.
We will also present the support currently on offer for them to meet these requirements and to improve their environmental reporting and impact and also to shape future product developments by feeding back their needs in this important but complex area.
They will also learn eligibility and process to access these resources at a free or reduced cost.
