ABOUT ABOUT

The UK Government commitment to Net Zero carbon emissions by 2050 will mean that every business will need to reduce their carbon emissions to zero by that date. For most businesses, customer pressure will require them to hit Net Zero well before then. That means electric and/or hydrogen vehicles plus electric and/or hydrogen heating.  The Government will use a combination of grants and carbon taxes to drive implementation of the policy. All large businesses have to report their carbon emissions now, the government will extend carbon reporting to SMEs over the next 5 to 10 years. Once Brexit and Covid are dealt with, this is the next big thing on the business agenda.

This webinar that explain what the Government means by Net Zero Carbon emissions by 2050. It also explains the steps that will be required to achieve Net Zero and the implications for businesses.  The event is aimed at managers of businesses.
